holy shit i just realized the most brilliant thing

the reason why most of μ’s’ songs are not so traditionally j-pop-ish is because maki (who composed all of their songs) said she listened to music with substance and beauty, like classical and jazz

mari is the composer for aquors, and she listens to industrial metal, which she describes as exhilarating, and from what we can see so far, aquors’ two singles have been pretty upbeat

but do you know what that means?
we’re gonna have more songs similar to after school navigators and loveless world
